I spent the last weekend at a gig in Seinäjoki, club Fiksaatio. Friday night I was too busy getting prepared for our Deck Jagger DJ gig, but on Saturday I had time to visit at the new studio of Ayleon. Ayleon is a finnish trance duo with a fresh cool sound and attitude that will definitely spice up the entire scene. Here you’ll get a nice insider look at their workspace.

The sound was absolutely brilliant, they use Yamaha HS80M monitors, and the whole place was covered in thin acoustic coating. But most importantly, the studio room has a relatively low height, and no windows. Their gearlist includes synths like Waldorf Blofeld and Roland XV 5050, and a legendary vintage drum machine Alesis SR-16!

If you want to know more about Ayleon, check out their facebook site , or listen to my next Wicked Podcast episode where I’ll give their next release a spin! :)
